She/her/hers
Nadia is a compassionate and dedicated Accredited Practicing Dietitian, Accredited Nutritionist and Credentialed Eating Disorder Clinician. She has extensive experience in gut health, digestive disorders, food allergies and intolerances. Nadia also has a special interest in eating disorders, practicing within the non-diet approach and Health at Every Size (HAES) framework and appreciating the brain-gut connection. She is passionate about neurodiversity-affirming, culturally diverse care. She consults in private practice on Sydney’s North Shore, and provides outpatient services as an Allergy Specialist Dietitian at Royal Prince Alfred (RPA) Hospital, Sydney.
Nadia previously worked as the primary FMT dietitian at the Centre for Digestive Diseases, where she was involved in research, program development and quality improvement; particularly in the areas of the gut microbiome and faecal microbial transplants (FMT). She completed her training at Royal North Shore Hospital, Royal Rehab and Uniting War Memorial Hospital. Nadia undertook her Masters thesis with Calvary Health Care Kogarah, NSW’s largest palliative care hospital. Prior to dietetics, she worked for more than 6 years with leading orthopaedic surgeons, supporting clinical research and patient outcomes. Currently, Nadia is on the leadership committee for the Dietitians Australia Adverse Food Reactions Interest Group.
Nadia’s diverse experiences have established her strong desire to understand individuals’ holistic health, beyond their presenting symptoms and primary condition. Drawing on her own experience with chronic illness, Nadia is passionate about empowering individuals with the nutrition education, skills, and support networks to lead fulfilling lives. She enjoys working with individuals to develop confidence and a peaceful relationship with food, eating and their bodies, without food anxiety and diet rules. Nadia also enjoys writing and contributing to health columns and blog posts, working to dispel nutrition myths and food anxiety. She is committed to ongoing professional development and is continually up-skilling to meet the needs of her clients.
Outside of her work as a dietitian, Nadia enjoys spending time in the Aussie sun with her family and friends, reading, and searching for Sydney’s best coffee.
